The house we will use is located a short distance from the town in East Middlebury on Lower Plains Road. The area offers excellent biking terrain for road and mountain bikes. In addition, non-riding guests have access to wonderful scenic hiking trails and several historic museums, not to mention typical Vermont culture and shopping opportunities.
Entertainment: Middlebury is a college town and celebrates their annual "Festival on the Green" July 12 - 17 with live free music entertainment every evening in the town Park. It concludes with a festive STREET DANCE on Saturday, July 17. Festival Web site

A full kitchen and dining area allow meals to be prepared at the house. A comfortable living room has two couches, easy chairs, and a side bar counter for after bike ride socialization. Alternative Lodging: If all available space at the house is taken (first come, first served) you may find motel or camp site lodging in the East Middlebury area near the ski house location.
