With John's resignation, I have been volunteered to fill in for the rest of the year. As a club, we have a few things to complete for 2013- The 2 cyclocross races (that we co-promote with Bulldogs Cycling) on Sunday 11/24 and Saturday 11/30, and the Christmas/Holiday Party on Saturday 12/7. We will be looking for help at these events and they are both a lot of fun.
Going into 2014, the first item is election of officers and our nominating committee will be reaching out to you all. Feel free to contact me or any of the current board if you have even the slightest interest, we have a great club with many opportunities to get involved. Some of the positions are non-cycling related, so don't be afraid to step forward if you are new to cycling or the club. Here is your chance to improve the club.
I have a few ideas but let me know if there is anything that you would like to see or improve in 2014. The year is not over, everyone is fit and the season is a great time to ride, the weather is perfect, the racers are slowing down, and the foliage is beautiful.
