Stage One (May 22, 2004, 9 a.m.*):
The Sawmill Time Trial: 12 kilometer rolling out-and-back course
through the deep woods and lightly traveled roads of High Point
State Park. (Registration from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.) course map
No aero bars allowed.
Stage Two (May 22, 2004, 1 p.m.*):
The Skylands Park Crtiterium: Pure crit racing on a closed,
flat, fast, spectator friendly course. The pace never lets up on
this four corner half-mile loop.
Stage Three (May 23, 2004, 10 a.m.*):
The Augusta Circuit Race: The 1.2 mile closed course at the
scenic Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta has been called the
best race course in New Jersey, with technical turns, power
straights and the notorious heartbreak hill just before the
finish line.
New Jersey riders aged 10-14 will compete for state road racing
honors.
This is a Lance Armstrong Junior Olympic Race Series
Event.
Overall individual and team winners will be determined on
points. Top five finishers in each race receive points toward
team competition. Winning men's and women's team will receive
engraved Can-Am Cup. Special North Atlantic-Mid Atlantic
Competition--Teams from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and other
Mid-Atlantic states** will compete against New York and New
England's finest junior racers for regional honors.
*Start times are for Women 10-12. All others to follow in order
listed above.
